PM&R Research Day 2018
PM&R Research Day features our gradutating Residents and Fellows presenting their research projects conducted within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. We also feature a nationally reconigzed Keynote Speaker.
Target Audience
Faculty, Residents, Fellows, Allied Health Care Professionals, as well as Researchers.
Learning Objectives
- Identify existing barriers to advancing the research cultrues at the individual and departmental level and develop strategies to address barriers.
- Gain knowledge about different areas of rehabilitation research; translational, clinical, and medical education to expand research activity at the individual and departmental level, and across departments and institutions.
- Apply strategies to implement research ideas into clinical practice, and how to assess and react to outcomes.
- Develop evidence-based rehabilitation knowledge in the areas, including neurorehabilitation, musculoskeletal, TBI, stroke, pain, SCI, and research development.
