The 21st Annual John S. Gould Lectureship/Scientific Program aims to advance the knowledge and science of orthopaedic surgery, encourage practice-based research to improve patient care, and promote lifelong learners. This lectureship highlights research performed by orthopaedic residents, fellows, and faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin. An invited Visiting Professor who is an expert in their field is featured as well during this program. 

Target Audience

Orthopaedic alumni, faculty, residents, fellows, medical students, allied health professionals interested in orthopaedic surgery research.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss research results and how they may impact patient care
  • Recognize new clinical research for orthopaedic patient care
  • Critically review and examine new clinical science research developments in orthopaedic surgery
  • Promote the exchange of ideas and encourage collaborations in orthopaedic research
