Weekly conference during academic year (Sept-May) to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Analyze how financial and organizational pressures in academic health systems impact the quality and safety of medical education and patient care.
  • Evaluate contemporary approaches to competency-based surgical education, including Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs), and identify their strengths and limitations in preparing residents for independent practice.
  • Implement professional and institutional strategies that medical educators can use to advocate for high-quality training while balancing clinical productivity demands.
