Weekly conference during academic year (Sept-May) to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Analyze fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence in healthcare, including key terminology and types of AI most relevant to clinical practice.
  • Evaluate the impact of AI on the physician–patient encounter across pre-visit, during-visit, and post-visit workflows, with attention to clinical decision-making, documentation, efficiency, and patient experience.
  • Assess current AI initiatives and governance at the Medical College of Wisconsin, including opportunities, limitations, and considerations for safe, ethical, and effective clinical integration.
