Program Description: 

This series is designed to offer continuing medical education, specifically for the faculty members of the Department of Emergency Medicine. Specifically, this series will focus on skill maintenance and the practice of procedures that are either rare or often performed by resident learners.


Target audience: 
  • Physicians
Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • incorporate content specific education related to the science and practice of Emergency Medicine into practice with a specific focus on hands-on education for procedures that are often supervised as opposed to performed by faculty in a teaching Emergency Department.
  • Translate content into best practice with the goal of improving Emergency Medicine care and resident education while working.
  • Perform procedures essential to the practice of Emergency Medicine.
