Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Understand natural history, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment modalities, long term consequences of various infectious disease entities
- Evaluate new treatment modalities and options with regards to clinical efficacy, safety, indications, alternatives, side effects and cost
- Analyze evolving antimicrobial resistance trends in our local demographic to assess how to adjust our clinical practice
