Program Description: 

This conference focuses on outcomes research in chronic kidney disease and end-stage kidney disease, delivery of care in dialysis units and chronic kidney disease clinics, emerging data on new treatments compared to current standard fo care, review of kidney pathology, and basic science research that may become future therapeutics.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Review the principles of supportive care in glomerulonephritis 
  • Describe emerging therapies for glomerular diseases, including novel immunomodulatory and kidney-protective agents, and identify appropriate clinical indications for their use.
  • Incorporate practical strategies to monitor treatment efficacy, prevent complications, and optimize long-term kidney health.
