Understanding and Treating Language Disorders in Children

Milwaukee, WI US
May 16, 2015
This program will address the concept of Language Disorders in children that is not widely recognized by parents, teachers, pediatricians, or even many speech and language pathologists.  The goal of this conference is to familiarize parents, teachers, pediatricians, speech and language pathologists, and others with the concept of Language Disorders and provide some tools to recognize and address Language Disorders in children.

This is an issue because providing parents, teachers, pediatricians and others with information on how to recognize and treat Language Disorders can lead to earlier intervention and therapies to better assist the child with communication and social and academic development.

We would like to provide the audience with techniques to recognize and treat Language Disorders.  If parents and teachers adopt different tools for learning, children may achieve greater success.
