Through this session you will explore leadership best practices, engage in exercises that facilitate enhanced self- awareness and recognize that leading others starts with effectively leading yourself.

Participants will be able to:

  • Distinguish between the activities of leadership and management and discern when each is most needed.
  • Describe the role that personal energy and well being play in leadership effectiveness  and define steps you can take to better care for your well being.
  • Identify a specific area of Emotional Intelligence in which you would like to improve and steps you will take to do so.
  • Describe the role of trust in leadership success and steps you can take to build and enhance trust with those you lead.
