Pediatric Critical Care Regional Meeting 2019
As PICU mortality rates have fallen to all-time lows, the pendulum is swinging in pediatric critical care to an emphasis on preventing morbidity and optimizing quality of life for our young patients. PICU Liberation is central to that mission. This conference will introduce care givers in the PICU an opportunity to gain knowledge and learn about practical methods to improve care for critically ill children.
Pediatricians, Family Practice Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
After this conference the participants will be able to:
- Describe the components of the ABCDEF bundle used in ICU liberation.
- Determine which bundle elements can be implemented in their institution.
- Plan ways to implement bundle elements successfully.
