Program Description:
SPUC weekly webinar series provides timely evidence-based education to physicians and advance practice providers who care for children in acute care settings. The Society for Pediatric Urgent Care will provide this webinar to its members in both a real time and an archived format. SPUC weekly webinar series will feature speakers and learners interested in improving the quality of urgent care from across the nation.

We will continue to offer 5 different categories of presentation to achieve our goals:

Each case should include a brief didactic discussion including any relevant evidence-based management recommendations. The presenter should also consider addressing the following variables: 1) patient safety 2) system safety 3) system efficiency 4) potential for quality improvement intervention

Evidence-based Guideline Review: This is a review of a specific evidence-based guideline implemented in an urgent care or ER setting. The presenter should consider discussion of the following: relevance and application potential, understanding meaningful practice variation, key performance indicators, measurable outcomes, and change management strategies.
