Program Description: 

A general series focused on providing ongoing continuing education credit for APPs collectively. Designed to bring a platform to APPs to participate in and collect credit towards the professional continued education needs through events and activities such as Children's Wisconsin Virtual Conference, Children's Wisconsin Advanced Practice Provider Symposium, journal club, professional and leadership development program and more.

    Learning objectives: 
    Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
    • Providing current clinical updates on assessment, diagnosis and treatment plans of care for the pediatric population within professional collaboration and team-based approaches
    • Provide pharmacotherapeutic content, safe prescribing practices, safe medication administration, prescribing methodologies and new regulations for the medical management for pediatric condition
    • Provide professional skills and leadership behavior training to promote career development, enhance professional competencies and promote leadership behaviors within the Advance Practice Provider (APP) cohort
