Program Description: 
APPs are required to meet 10 education hours to maintain FACT (Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy) certification however were having difficulty meeting this objective without instituting a campus based lecture series. FACT certification demonstrates program quality and promotes standardization of care. Additionally, this lecture series address several QI initiatives including infection control, best practice for management of acute and chronic GVHD and managing acute toxicity related to therapy, including immunotherapy.

  • Physician Assistants in BMT
Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Discuss best practice for management of acute and chronic GVHD
  • Discuss best practice for managing acute therapy related
  • Present data demonstrating best practice for infection control methods
  • Discuss patient/donor selection criteria
