Special Session 201

Dominique Fons, MD, Molly Clark, PhD, Kwanza Devlin, MD, Julie Rickert, PsyD

COVID-19 has impacted our world like an asteroid affecting every part of patient care and medical education.  Join us for an exploration of different perspectives of catastrophic change.  A physician helps a patient who loses his voice in a pandemic.  Leaders make decisions with inadequate information and support teams through conditions they have never faced.  Education, patient care, celebrations, and recruiting all need to continue as the world comes to a stop.  Each story connects us with the experience of finding growth when faced with catastrophe.
