Program Description: 

This CME program addresses gaps in medical knowledge and best practices with regards to the clinical practice of internal medicine and teaching learners the discipline of internal medicine.  These conferences update the audience with new findings and best practices to match current understanding in the field of internal medicine so that our faculty are knowledgeable, competent, and practice patient care of value to the patient.

1. List the risk factors and medications associated with the development of Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome and Serontonin Syndrome;

2. Summarize the signs and symptoms of NMS and SS, highlighting the features that distinguish the 2 syndromes from one another;

3. Identify the treatment strategies used to manage patients with NMS and SS
