Milwaukee Gynecological Society Meetings 2017
Complications of pregnancy are health problems that can involve the health of the mother, the baby or both. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, some women have health problems that arise during pregnancy and other wome have health problems before they become pregnant that could lead to complications. It is very important for women to receive appropriate care before and during pregnancy to decrease the risk of pregnancy complications and imporve outcomes. Physicians do not currently have all of the pertinent information required to properly care for pregnant patients who experience various complications. This course is designed to colse the gap in clinical practice by imporving knowledge and competence to diagnose conditions correctly, institute appropriate treatment and improve patient outcomes.
