Forward2018 Midwinter Retina Symposium The Word on Retina
This CE activity will review important recent advances that comprehensive ophthalmologists should be aware of such as vitreoretinal medicine, imaging, and surgery. The conference will teach them how to include them into their clinical practice.

Learning Objectives
- Describe the pathophysiology of ophthalmologic diseases, such as diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy malignancy, and uveitis, in light of new information provided by recent clinical trials.
- Discuss best current methods for avoiding endophthalmitis after intraocular procedures.
- Present latest recommendations for screening of hydroxychloroquine retinopathy.
- Discuss current science on value of vitamins and genetic testing for macular degeneration.
- Discuss value of OCT-A for imaging diabetic retinopathy.
- Review new techniques for placing a scleral-fixated an intraocular lens.
DIRECTIONS
The Medical College of Wisconsin is located on the campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center in Milwaukee. The main entrance is located on 87th street, just south of Watertown Plank Road.
