Asthma/Allergy/Clinical Immunology (AAI) Grand Rounds develop educational activities for physicians and providers in order to enhance their knowledge and skills and to improve performance and patient care in AAI practice settings.
These educational activities include live presentations about department (pediatrics), interdepartmental and specialty (asthma/allergy/clinical immunology) topics.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Identify the pathogenesis of HAE
- Know the clinical presentations and “clues” in the patient’s medical history to help in the diagnosis of HAE
- Be able to order the appropriate laboratory tests necessary for diagnosing HAE
- Identify the current and future treatment options available for hereditary angioedema in the United States for acute intervention and short and long-term prophylaxis
- Describe limiting factors and obstacles that may need to be overcome to ensure appropriate referral and treatment of patients with HAE
