15th Annual Diabetes and Metabolic Disease Symposium of Wisconsin

Pewaukee, WI US
May 12, 2022 to May 13, 2022

Epidemiological data show that the prevalence of diabetes is increasing.  This is also true for the State of Wisconsin. Diabetes causes increased  morbidity, mortality, and increased healthcare costs.  Data also show that better diagnosis, management, as well as institution of preventive measures can affect these outcomes positively.

Previous evaluations from our annual symposium have shown that many physicians from our state feel that they need further education on complex management of diabetic patients.

The purpose of this conference will be:

  • To impart baseline knowledge regarding diabetes to practitioners new to diabetes
  • To teach scientific background behind the common practices and understand the rationale behind such practices
  • To highlight the newer advances in diabetes management
  • Unique cases will be highlighted to demonstrate key points in patient diagnosis management
  • Conference will emphasize application of evidence-based medicine.
