Review the goals of the EMERGE annual review process.
Share the process improvement efforts to enhance EMERGE to be meaningful and impactful to APPs in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Collaborate with other department leads/managers to discuss positive/negative aspects of their EMERGE process.
Recognize the required steps in the Results Review process and how to prepare well for the review conversation.
Understand how to utilize additional resources within the system to get the most out of performance management
Generate awareness of MCW clinical communication strategies, approaches and resources.
Gain a shared understanding of the value of collaboration in developing effective, bi-directional communication.
Leaders have knowledge of the resources available for them and their teams.
Identify and apply the administrative requirements in situations in which FMLA and ADA and corrective action may apply.
Recognize the role of Human Resources and the role as a leader when addressing situations of ADA, FMLA, and corrective action.
Explain best practices and MCW’s policies regarding trial periods, corrective action and staff conflict resolution appeals, and separation of employment to reduce the risk of litigation.
