Weekly conference during academic year (Sept-May) to highlight updates and changes to best practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Identify why health disparities exist between the incarcerated population and the overall population
  • Explain how care of incarcerated patients in hospitals may exacerbate pre-exisiting disparities.
  • Explore opprtunities to improve health care of incarcerated patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
