Program Description: 

WPA Grand Rounds series features a variety of topics in psychiatry. This virtual series occurs monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 12pm-1pm CST.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Identify at least three common myths about borderline personality disorder and its trajectory using data presented from well-designed studies
  • Name at least two screening and assessment tools for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) in adolescents and two strategies to deliver the diagnosis to patients and families.
  • Identify at least two possible treatment recommendations for adolescents with BPD.
  • Apply these approaches to the case example presented
