Describe how to perform a comprehensive pain assessment integrating a socio-psycho-biological approach
Identify risk factors for opioid misuse, such as a history of addiction, mental health conditions, and family history of substance abuse
Safely describe harm reduction strategies for patients with cancer related pain in patients with current and past substance misuse
Review safety monitoring and risk reduction strategies when prescribing opioids
Describe pharmacology of buprenorphine
Discuss initiation and management of Buprenorphine
