Program Description: 

Attendees of Pediatric Grand Rounds will learn from leading experts state-of-the art clinical and basic science best available evidence in a wide variety of topics in pediatric medicine. Information presented will enable attendees to remain current on best practices that improve their ability to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  1. ⦁    Recognize Sudden Cardiac Arrest as an abrupt event that requires immediate CPR and AED use.
  2. ⦁    Recall top causes of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in youth.
  3. ⦁    Apply best practices to avoid barriers in AED plans and placement for your office, school, and community.
  4. ⦁    Identify future advances that will increase survival from SCA.
