This recurring conference consists of several different academic lectures and discussions related to neonatology, including Morbidity and Mortality, Research Discussions, and other related topics.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
1. Describe how children with mild and moderate–severe HIE perform on national school assessments from ages 8 to 13 years relative to peers.
2. Explain how academic performance changes over time in children with mild versus moderate–severe HIE, including the persistence of performance gaps and the potential for decline in mild HIE.
3. Apply evidence from population-based HIE outcomes to guide families regarding expected school performance and identify children who may benefit from targeted educational support.
