Identify appropriate candidates for fertility preservation- how and when to refer patients, to optimize successful future fertility as well as estimate chances for future pregnancy based on age and number of eggs cryopreserved.
Accurately assess and interpret ovarian reserve as evidenced by ordering appropriate labs and ultrasound imaging .
Appropriately counsel patients on optimizing their health prior to conceiving as evidenced by knowing when to refer to maternal fetal medicine for high-risk conditions, when to refer to reproductive medicine due to infertility risk factors, and identifying appropriate lab testing to order.
