The Transplant Service Line Lecture Series is designed to enhance knowledge and foster collaboration in the field of transplantation. This series focuses on key topics such as patient care optimization, innovative research, multidisciplinary teamwork, and the latest advancements in transplant medicine. It provides a platform for education, discussion, and sharing best practices to improve outcomes in organ transplantation.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Review the structure of the Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) team for Froedtert Health.
  • Review basic principles that everyone should follow to prevent spread of infection in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
  • Review regulatory / reporting functions of the IPAC team to both the state and CDC/NHSN.
  • Review cluster / outbreak investigation processes.
