It provides a platform for education, discussion, and sharing best practices to improve outcomes in organ transplantation.

- Describe the impact of reducing cold ischemic time (CIT) on kidney allocation efficiency.
- Explain how placing kidneys on pump in the operating room (OR) reduces CIT and accelerates the transition to the allocation phase.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of expanding kidney perfusion criteria on observed vs. expected kidney yield.
- Analyze how including all kidneys procured for transplant in the perfusion process led to an increase in the O:E ratio from 0.98 to 1.18.
