Apply the 2022 American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines to the longitudinal care and health supervision of children with Down syndrome, including recommended screening and management practices.
Identify ferritin thresholds and associated clinical parameters that indicate the need for iron supplementation in children with Down syndrome, and select appropriate treatment strategies based on these findings.
Recognize clinical signs, symptoms, and risk factors that warrant referral for polysomnography in children with Down syndrome, and integrate this decision-making into routine clinical care.
