Evaluate the different causes of sudden hearing loss.
Gain confidence in bedside examination skills, including how to determine sensorineural hearing loss vs conductive hearing loss, and how to identify a middle ear effusion.
Understand level of referral urgency in a patient with sudden hearing loss
Identify what types of treatment a non-ENT provider can provide, and also what types of treatment an ENT specialist can provide.
