Review of basic Physiology and Pathophysiology topics in newborn medicine and how they relate to the NICU.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Understand basic physiology and pathophysiology in newborn medicine.
  • Describe strengths and challenges in evidence-based practice of newborn care and medical education.
  • Understand the role of NICU and escalating care in the newborn nursery.
