Program Description: 

Review of NICU cases and basic Physiology topics in Neonatology.

Target audience:

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Evaluate the clinical presentation, diagnostic findings and management strategies for congenital and acquired small intestinal disorders in neonates and young infants. 
  • Develop an understanding of embryology, pathophysiology, prenatal diagnosis, postnatal stabilization, and multidisciplinary management of abdominal wall defects in neonates. 
  • Review and evaluate gastrointestinal bleeding in neonates and critically ill infants, developing a differential diagnosis based on gestational age and clinical status.
