ForwardAsthma/Allergy/Clinical Immunology (AAI) Grand Rounds develop educational activities for physicians and providers to enhance their knowledge and skills and to improve performance and patient care in AAI practice settings. These educational activities include live presentations about department (pediatrics), interdepartmental and specialty (asthma/allergy/clinical immunology) topics.

- Apply the stages of change model to tailor counseling strategies for patients with asthma and allergic diseases in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Demonstrate effective use of open-ended questions when exploring asthma/allergy control, triggers, and treatment adherence during patient encounters.
- Demonstrate reflective listening skills to clarify patient concerns and goals related to asthma and allergy management.
- Use change talk and confidence/motivation rulers to assess and strengthen patients’ readiness to modify asthma/allergy self-management behaviors.
