Program Description: 

Weekly multidisciplinary conference focused on a variety of pediatric urology topics including pediatric incontinence, congenital urinary anomalies, spina bifida, differences in sex development. Rotating modalities including didactic lectures, case-based presentations and journal clubs with frequent multidisciplinary collaboration from other specialties (i.e. pediatric endocrinology, pediatric surgery, pediatric nephrology, etc). Appropriate for pediatric subspecialists who provide care for children with simple and complex urologic anomalies.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Discuss the best courses of action for patients experiencing complications, post-surgical and otherwise.
  • Analyze adverse outcomes in patient care using peer review. 
  • Identify possible systems issues and errors that may lead to complications.
  • Review specific cases and discuss outcomes to improve patient care in the future.
