Program Description: 

This conference focuses on outcomes research in chronic kidney disease and end-stage kidney disease, delivery of care in dialysis units and chronic kidney disease clinics, emerging data on new treatments compared to current standard fo care, review of kidney pathology, and basic science research that may become future therapeutics.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to
  • Provide patients with evidence for the use of Donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA) detection in monitoring for transplant rejection.
  • Assess the strengths and limitations of dd-cfDNA detection in a clinical setting.
  • Analyze how DNA biomarkers may reshape rejection diagnostics and surveillance in a clinical setting.
