Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Analyze common ethical dilemmas in neonatal care (e.g., withdrawal of life support, resource allocation, parental autonomy vs. medical judgment) and evaluate competing ethical frameworks used to resolve them.
  • Develop and justify an individualized end-of-life care plan for a neonate, integrating symptom management strategies with the family's cultural, spiritual, and emotional needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of different communication strategies in emotionally complex neonatal scenarios (e.g., delivering a poor prognosis, facilitating shared decision-making) and formulate an approach tailored to a specific family situation
