Program Description: 

Attendees of Pediatric Grand Rounds will learn from leading experts state-of-the art clinical and basic science best available evidence in a wide variety of topics in pediatric medicine. Information presented will enable attendees to remain current on best practices that improve their ability to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Discuss impact of Childhood Obesity in the US and the role of multidisciplinary care at CW.
  • Review the assessment, screening and treatment of pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes in LMC.
  • Provide updated guidelines for screening and treatment of dyslipidemia in children within LMC.
  • Summarize best practices in the management of Fatty Liver Disease in children.
  • Highlight the current and future research initiatives in LMC.
