Program Description: 

Attendees of Pediatric Grand Rounds will learn from leading experts state-of-the art clinical and basic science best available evidence in a wide variety of topics in pediatric medicine. Information presented will enable attendees to remain current on best practices that improve their ability to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Understand the basics components of health policy.
  • Review the organization of the federal and state government and how their decisions may impact healthcare.
  • Review current health policy “hot topics” as it relates to pediatric care. 
  • Identify areas for advocacy through Children’s Action Network and resources as a pediatrician.
