This is a weekly conference dedicated to the presentation and discussion of the American Board of Pediatrics Board Content within Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Attending this lecture series will expand one's medical knowledge of the core principles of pediatric critical care medicine, including pathophysiology, diagnostic evaluation, and management for patients in the pediatric ICU.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Explain the definition of Multiorgan Dysfunction Syndrome (MODS) and its relevance in critically ill patients.
- Integrate understanding of MODS pathophysiology with associated clinical conditions to recognize progression and severity of critical illness in pediatric patients.
- Identify the diagnostic criteria used to define Multiorgan Dysfunction Syndrome (MODS).
- Explain the clinical manifestations and resulting organ dysfunctions associated with MODS.
- Identify and differentiate common phenotypes of MODS.
- Analyze organ-specific dysfunction to guide prioritized and supportive management of MODS.
- Discuss the impact of MODS on patient morbidity, mortality, and long-term functional outcomes.
