Program Description: 

Attendees of Pediatric Grand Rounds will learn from leading experts state-of-the art clinical and basic science best available evidence in a wide variety of topics in pediatric medicine. Information presented will enable attendees to remain current on best practices that improve their ability to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.

  • Describe the ambiguity of using “reasonable suspicion” as the threshold for reporting suspected child abuse
  • Explain ethical concerns regarding current standards for reporting suspected child maltreatment
  • Describe how the iLookOut mandated reporter training used micro-learning and gamification to promote knowledge retention and critical thinking
