⦁ Explain the relationship between Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and long‑term healthoutcomes to enhance trauma‑informed clinical decision‑making.
⦁ Assess safety risks and immediate needs in children with suspected trauma exposure using structured, developmentally appropriate approaches.
⦁ Apply trauma‑responsive communication strategies during pediatric encounters to reduce re‑traumatization and increase patient engagement.
⦁ Develop individualized safety plans for children and families affected by trauma that include concrete, measurable steps and appropriate referrals.
