Program Description: 

Attendees of Pediatric Grand Rounds will learn from leading experts state-of-the art clinical and basic science best available evidence in a wide variety of topics in pediatric medicine. Information presented will enable attendees to remain current on best practices that improve their ability to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

⦁    Establish the importance and purpose of public health policies, and develop a framework for understanding vaccine policy ​
⦁    Evaluate the epidemiology of Hepatitis B in the United States, and appreciate the effects of vaccine strategies over time ​
⦁    Describe recent changes to United States Hepatitis B vaccine policy (and other recent vaccine recommendations) ​
⦁    Counsel on how to approach vaccine topics with patients
