This case conference discusses current hematology cases, differential diagnosis and treatment options. The educational benefit depends on the case discussed and may include better understanding of the differential diagnosis, better understanding of treatment options, or better understanding of the complexities of care.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Describe the importance of the role that pathology, radiology and oncology have in the diagnosis of oncology and bone marrow transplant (BMT) disorders. 
  • Demonstrate how to critically review the literature to answer a clinical question.
  • Analyze how to diagnose and treat both common and uncommon oncology and BMT diagnoses 
  • Engage in discussion about treatment planning for oncology and BMT diagnoses
