This session will provide an overview of pediatric anxiety from the lens of the multidisciplinary team

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • How to identify anxiety symptoms in pediatric patient including common parent observations, clinical interview, somatic symptoms, and appropriate screening tools
  • How to implement and/or teach non-pharmacological strategies to reduce the impairment of anxiety symptom including appropriate therapies, parent-mediated strategies, and sensory regulation practices
  • Understand treatment guidelines about how and when to employ pharmacological interventions
