A focused series focused on providing ongoing continuing education credit for APPs collectively. Designed to bring a platform to APPs to participate in and collect credit towards the professional continued education needs through events and activities such as Childrens Wisconsin Virtual Conference, Childrens Wisconsin Advanced Practice Provider Symposium, journal clubs, professional and leadership development program and more.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Inform patients and guardians of the current evidence for the safety, efficacy, and indications of GLP-1 receptor agonists in adolescents with obesity and related metabolic conditions.
  • Identify appropriate patient selection criteria, monitoring strategies, and counseling considerations when prescribing GLP-1 receptor agonists in adolescent populations.
