This session is led by an Advanced Practice Provider. It will provide updates on diagnosis & management of pediatric Mental and Behavioral health including depression, anxiety, and ADHD.

Learning objectives: 
Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
  • Identify diagnostic criteria for the most common pediatric psychiatric disorders
  • Construct an initial treatment plan for a child or adolescent with depression, anxiety, or ADHD including both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management options
  • Summarize important considerations before initiating antidepressants, anxiolytics, and ADHD medications in the pediatric population
