Program Description: 

Empathy is understanding someone else’s experience so much that you can imagine having their experience yourself. It is the foundation for kindness and understanding. It helps us in relationships to understand the needs, experiences, and feelings of the other person.”  The purpose of the pre work is to provide information regarding the value of empathy and compassion in healthcare.  The in person session will focus upon learning and incorporating tools to communicate empathy into daily practice
