The APP Education Series offers diverse topics from clinical-based knowledge, pharmacological updates, professional development, and leadership skills targeted to the APP population.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Build understanding - Define what it means to be a High Reliability Organization (HRO), outline its guiding principles, and explain why pursuing HRO status is essential for patient safety, quality, and organizational resilience.
  • Share the vision - Describe the HRO journey at FTCH, including key initiatives such as Plan for Reli, strengthening event reporting, and shaping a just culture that supports transparency and learning.
  • Engage clinicians - Highlight the critical role clinicians, particularly APPs, play in embedding HRO principles into daily practice, participating in training, and modeling behaviors that sustain a culture of reliability.
