The purpose of this program is to expand the ability of PAs and APNs to prescribe appropriate medications for specific medical conditions utilizing current best practices identified in clinical research and prescribing practices, maximizing the safe prescribing practices and the prompt recognition and management of adverse reactions/interactions.

The learning objectives for this presentation include: 

  • Recognize the signs and symptoms of delirium
  • Differentiate delirium from the other types of related disorders
  • Identify appropriate treatment strategies and pharmacotherapy
