Asthma/Allergy/Clinical Immunology (AAI) Grand Rounds develop educational activities for physicians and providers to enhance their knowledge and skills and to improve performance and patient care in AAI practice settings. These educational activities include live presentations about department (pediatrics), interdepartmental and specialty (asthma/allergy/clinical immunology) topics.

- Differentiate serum sickness–like reactions from other hypersensitivity reactions by describing characteristic symptoms, expected clinical course, and risk of recurrence in pediatric patients.
- Construct an evidence based differential diagnosis for suspected serum sickness–like reactions in children presenting with rash and arthralgia.
- Analyze the role of oral drug challenge in confirming serum sickness–like reactions and appraise key limitations and safety considerations of this approach.
- Design management plans that address limitations of traditional serum sickness–like reaction treatments by incorporating current evidence and shared decision making with families.
- Summarize key controversies in the diagnosis and management of serum sickness–like reactions and discuss their implications for clinical decision making.
